About Us

The Reason

Generational Changers (GC) began with the thought of helping others. Our motto is to “Help you face unwelcome task/moments one day at a time.” Often we are able to cope with life as it arises. Throughout the course of our lives we develop multiple coping strategies that have aided us in past situations to overcome stressful moments. Eventually we have moments that arise when our strategies are no long sufficient and we need help. GC exist to help you face and transition past those unwelcome task(s).

Background in Industry

I’ve spent eighteen years in the Armed Forces starting in the Army and later switching to become a Marine. Throughout my service I have encounter numerous unwelcome tasks and often felt isolated or too prideful to reach out for help. After retirement I knew there was more that had to be done for our service members in the mental health industry. I wanted to create a place that is inviting and allow others a safe space to be valuable in a confidential setting. I decided to attend school working on a degree that would allow me to help others. In 2018 I began a new chapter in the field of mental health counseling.

Throughtout my internship I had the oppurtunity to work under other servicemembers that were Clinincal Psychologist. During this time it provided me a chance to work with sevicemembers from different ages, backgrounds, and ranks. I’ve conducted initial assessments provided diagnosis according to the latest DSM-V manual. I’ve work with individuals building a collaborative treatment plans that’s beneficial for the growth of the client. I’ve work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsion disorder (OCD), and numerous phase of life problems.
